Are you a stylist or salon owner who wants to introduce the extension & hair replacement services throughout your entire salon?
Our in-person salon training is intended as a supplementary training addition for professionals wanting more hands-on experience, whereas your entire salon will have the opportunity to work alongside a model to conduct proper consultations, review the Extensionist Checklist real time, and perfect the VOGUEPEARL technique(s) alongside owner and creator, Megan Ledarney.
By the time your salon's Live Model Day takes place, all stylists will be expected to have completed the online training portion of their chosen programs, as well as installed VOGUEPEARL on a live head for grading, as our online programs are designed as a prerequisite to Live Model Day.
Live Model Day provides each stylist in your salon the ability to install in complete unison, for a better client experience overall. It also provides your salon culture the opportunity to work in unison as a hair extension or hair replacement specialty salon.
At The Extensionist, we are a speciality hair extension & hair replacement salon, and we have been successfully maintaining and expanding our specialty salons into new cities using our curated business methods. We are excited to show you how to introduce new methods & expand your business using our proven techniques & steps of service!
Key things to note about
live model day
The prerequisite to your salons Live Model Day, is that each of your certifying stylists will need to have completed the online certification program of their choosing.

Each stylist will already be equipped with kit & tools as per the online training program

Each stylist will have already submitted an installation for grading as per the online training program

Live Model Day is $600CAD per stylist, as well as travel and accommodation for your educator

Live Model Day requires a minimum of 3 stylists

Live Model Day is 1 day for VOGUEPEARL Extension Pro, and 2 days for the combined program

Each stylist will have pre-consulted with their model, and they are required to provide the model for Live Model Day

Wefted hair for Live Model Day is to be pre-purchased and provided by your salon, ready for installation.
SALON DAY SYLLABUS
Morning : Theory Review & Consults
We review The Extensionist Checklist & steps of service
Review of all business theory and answer any questions
Lunch : We all need to eat!
We break from 12 - 12:30 for lunch and to regroup
Afternoon : Live Model Installs
Your salon will have pre-consulted and pre-ordered the hair for live model day in preparation. We use 100 grams of density to install 3 rows, or order 1 closure for each client.
Each stylist will begin installing the VOGUEPEARL technique while your educator is present, providing tips & tricks as well as helping troubleshoot any questions or concerns.
Day 2 : Required for combined program
Live Model Day consists of 1 day for each technique your salon is looking to introduce into your salon. If your salon is introducing the VOGUEPEARL extension technique, as well as the hair loss replacement technique, we will require 2 days in total. Hair Replacement will be day 2 if this applies to your salon.
